  • 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1 c. cooked pumpkin
  • 2 c. Milnot
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c. nut meats (optional)

Directions

    Mix sugar, flour, salt and spices together; stir into pumpkin. Add Milnot and eggs.

    Add nuts at this point, if used.

    Pour into pie shell and bake at 450° for 10 minutes.

    Reduce heat to 350° and continue baking for another 25 to 30 minutes or until filling is firm (when knife inserted in pie comes out clean).

    Garnish with whipped Milnot topping.
