- 1 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 4 eggs
- 1 (1 lb. 13 oz.) can pumpkin
- 2 c. evaporated milk
- 1 c. water
- 2 unbaked pie shells (9-inch)
Directions

1Thoroughly mix together the brown sugar, salt, flour and spices.

2Add slightly beaten eggs and pumpkin; mix well until blended.

3Stir in milk and water; pour into two 9-inch unbaked pie shells.

4Bake in hot oven at 450° for 20 minutes.

5Reduce heat to 350° and continue baking 20 minutes longer, until inserted knife comes out clean.
