Pumpkin Pie Cake

  • 2 cans pumpkin (12 oz.)
  • 4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
  • 3 Tbsp. water
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
  • chopped pecans

Directions

    Mix and beat well all of the ingredients except the last 3 items.

    Sprinkle the box of yellow cake mix on top of mixture. Dribble butter over cake mix.

    Top with pecans.

    Bake at 350° for 50 minutes or longer until crisp and brown.

    Serve warm or cold. Can be topped with Cool Whip or ice cream.
