Ingredients

  • 1 box butter cake mix
  • 2 large boxes instant vanilla pudding
  • 5 c. milk
  • 2 large cans crushed pineapple, drained
  • 2 cans cherry or strawberry pie filling
  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1 can coconut
  • 1 large container Cool Whip
  • chopped nuts (as desired)

Directions

    Mix first 3 ingredients.

    Bake cake as directed in 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan; cool.

    Take half of cake; break into pieces.

    Put in large bowl, layer with half pudding, half pineapple, half cherry pie filling, half bananas, half coconut and half Cool Whip. Repeat layers.

    Top with nuts.

    Chill and serve.
