  • 1 (10-inch) baked pie shell
  • 4 slices bacon
  • onion, chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. bacon drippings
  • 1 c. boiled or baked ham, cubed
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese (paper thin)
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1 c. cream, heated

Directions

    Fry bacon until crisp.

    Crumble and place in bottom of pie shell.

    Saute onion in bacon drippings.

    Arrange over bacon. Place half of ham and 2 slices cheese over onions.

    Repeat layers of ham and cheese.

    Beat eggs and mustard together.

    Add to warm cream and beat again.

    Pour into pie shell.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 350° for 35 minutes.
