- 1 large pie crust
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 medium white onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. fried bacon, crumbled
- 1 c. grated baby Swiss cheese
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 c. half and half
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- white or red pepper
- nutmeg (scant amount)
- 1 c. cream
Directions

1Bake pie crust 3 minutes at 400°.

2Prick with fork and bake 5 more minutes. Saute onion in butter. Combine all ingredients and pour into crust.

3If not enough to fill, beat one more egg with 1/2 cup cream.

4Bake 1 hour or until set.

5Let set before cutting.
