- 4 eggs
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 4 to 6 oz. Swiss cheese, sliced
- 1 (9-inch) deep dish unbaked pie shell (frozen)
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- dash of pepper
- 8 oz. bacon, lightly browned and crumbled
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350°.

2In medium bowl, beat eggs, cream, salt, pepper and nutmeg with eggbeater or whisk.

3With a fork, prick sides and bottom of shell every 1/2-inch to avoid shrinking or bubbling.

4Make 2 to 3 layers of cheese and bacon in bottom of pie shell.

5Pour egg and cream mix over this.

6Bake 45 to 50 minutes or until golden brown and puffy.

7Let cool and slice.
