- pastry for single crust 9-inch pie
- 12 slices bacon, crisply fried and crumbled
- 4 oz. shredded natural Swiss cheese
- 1 c. minced onion
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. whipping cream
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne red pepper
Directions

1Heat oven to 425°.

2Prepare the pastry.

3Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in the pastry lined pie pan.

4Beat eggs lightly and blend in cream, salt, sugar and pepper.

5Pour mixture into pie pan.

6Bake 15 minutes at 425° then reduce heat to 300° and bake 30 minutes later.

7Let pie stand 10 minutes before cutting.
