- 12 slices bacon, crisp and crumbled
- 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1/3 c. finely chopped onion
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. half and half
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper

1Prepare pie shell.

2Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion in pastry.

3Blend eggs slightly.

4Beat in remaining ingredients. Pour egg mixture into pie pan.

5Cook, uncovered, at 425° for 15 minutes.

6Reduce to 300° and cook until knife inserted in center comes out clean (about 30 minutes).

7Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
