  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 large apple, pared, cored and cut into 1/4-inch thick wedges
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 c. chopped almonds

    Cream together margarine and the 1/2 cup sugar.

    Add eggs and beat until fluffy.

    Stir in vanilla and flour, mixing well. Spread evenly in buttered 9-inch round cake pan.
