- 1 pkg. yeast
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 4 Tbsp. warm water
- 4 c. self-rising flour
- 2 c. milk
- 3/4 c. cooking oil
Directions

1Dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water.

2Mix with other ingredients.

3Cook in greased muffin tins at 375° until brown. Store unused portion of batter in refrigerator.

4The batter keeps well for two weeks and can be prepared directly from the refrigerator; however, the batter will rise better if it is allowed to rise 30 to 60 minutes before baking.
