Quick Beef With Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. boneless top round steak
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • olive oil
  • 2 c. broccoli florets
  • 1/4 c. sliced green onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. red cooking wine
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce

Directions

    Slice steak diagonally across grain into thin strips.

    Coat wok with oil and stir-fry steaks until done.

    Remove steak and set aside.

    Coat wok and stir-fry broccoli 3 minutes.

    Add tomato, onion and garlic.

    Cook until broccoli is done.

    In small bowl, mix cornstarch, wine and soy sauce.

    Remove vegetable mixture from wok and put cornstarch mixture into wok; cook until it becomes thick, then add everything back into the wok.

    Mix well and serve over rice.
