- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. cream or milk
Directions

1Cook first 4 ingredients, stirring until sugar is dissolved, then cook without stirring until mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.

2Cool to lukewarm.

3Beat until begins to thicken.

4Add vanilla and 1 tablespoon cream or milk.

5Continue to beat until ready to spread.
