Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 2 medium chopped onions
- 1/2 green pepper
- 2 Tbsp. (generous) flour
- 1 tsp. cumin
- chili powder (start with 3 Tbsp. and add to taste)
- 1 or 2 dried red peppers (optional)
- salt and pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 (46 oz.) can tomato juice
- 2 medium size cans kidney beans
Directions

1Brown hamburger, onions and green pepper.

2Add flour, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper and garlic salt and mix.

3Add tomato juice and stir.

4Cook for 30 minutes.

5Drain the cans of kidney beans and add them.

6Cover and cook another 30 minutes.

7Serve with cornbread or crackers.
