- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 2 celery stalks
- 1 medium onion
- 2 cans minced clams
- 2 cans chopped clams
- 1 carrot
- 5 medium potatoes
- 3/4 c. milk
- 4 qt. water
- flour
- salt and pepper
Directions

1Chop bacon, celery and onion; saute until tender.

2Add clams with juice.

3Boil 15 minutes.

4Add water and bring to a boil.

5Add 4 diced potatoes; grate 1 potato and 1 carrot and add to boiling liquid.

6Cook until potatoes are done.

7Add milk.

8Thicken with flour and water mixture.

9Salt and pepper to taste.
