- 2 c. fruit (if presweetened, use 1/2 c. sugar, otherwise use 1 c. sugar)
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 3 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 c. boiling water
Directions

1Cook fruit until thickened.

2Sift together flour, sugar, salt and baking powder.

3Add salad oil and milk.

4Pour over cooked fruit.

5Pour boiling water over it.

6Cook for 25 minutes at 400°.
