  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions

    Mix together dry ingredients; cook raisins and water together in a right high pan.

    Add margarine and soda to hot mixture until margarine melts.
  3. 3
    Take off stove.
  4. 4
    Add dry ingredients to pan, stirring, then add beaten egg.
  5. 5
    Mix until well blended.
  6. 6
    Spread in greased large cookie sheet 20 minutes at 350°.

    While still warm, spread with butter and powdered sugar.
