- 1 lb. can or 2 1/2 c. fruit
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 scant c. flour
- 1/2 c. sweet milk
Directions

1In saucepan, mix together fruit, sugar, water and butter.

2Set aside.

3Mix together remainder of ingredients in buttered baking dish.

4Pour first mixture over second.

5Bake in moderate oven at 350° until brown.
