  • 4 Tbsp. butter cut into squares
  • 1/2 cup unsifted flour
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 to 4 cups fresh fruit or berries

Directions

    Dot bottom of 9 x 9 x 2 baking dish with butter.

    In a bowl mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and milk.

    Pour on butter and spoon fruit over all, allowing space for dough to bubble up. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Serves 6.
