- 4 Tbsp. butter cut into squares
- 1/2 cup unsifted flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 to 4 cups fresh fruit or berries
Directions

1Dot bottom of 9 x 9 x 2 baking dish with butter.

2In a bowl mix together flour, sugar, baking powder and milk.

3Pour on butter and spoon fruit over all, allowing space for dough to bubble up. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Serves 6.
