Quick Hash Brown Casserole

- 2 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 stick margarine, melted
- 2 to 3 c. corn flakes, crushed
- 1 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
- 1 (12 oz.) carton sour cream
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 10 to 12 oz. grated Cheddar cheese
Directions

1Stir all ingredients together, except for corn flakes and 1/2 stick margarine.

2Pour into casserole dish.

3Top with corn flakes which have been mixed with 1/2 stick melted margarine.

4Bake at 350° for 60 minutes.

5This freezes well, but don't put topping on to freeze.
