- 1 1/2 c. warm water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs, well beaten
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 5 Tbsp. shortening
- 5 c. flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup warm water and let stand 5 minutes. Add remaining water, salt and sugar; beat.

2Add shortening and beat.

3Add eggs and beat.

4Add flour and mix until elastic.

5Put in refrigerator and let double in size.

6Take out and knead amount desired.

7Return rest to refrigerator.

8Let rise.
-
9Bake at 450° until brown.
