  • 1 c. self-rising cornmeal
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. shredded cheese
  • 1/4 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 c. milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 can (8 3/4 oz.) cream-style corn

    Spoon into greased 8-inch square pan. Bake at 450° for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
