Quick Microwaved "Simmered" Apples

- 1 Apple
- 2 tbsp Raisins
Directions

1Cut the apple into 5 mm wedges.

2Place the apple and raisins in a microwave safe container and microwave at 600 W for 1-1.5 minutes.

3Cook until the apple is soft, moist and translucent.

4Continue cooking in residual heat until transparent.

5If it is not quite transparent, mix it and microwave it again.

6When the apple cools down, chill in a refrigerator until cold.

7Room temperature is OK in winter.

8It gets sweeter by chilling it.

9Drain the liquid and use it in sweets or bread.

10Add some sugar If you prefer to eat it while it is still warm.
