- 2 cans of beets
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup beet juice
- 2 bay leaves (optional)
- 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
- dash of salt
Directions

1Drain beets and save 1 cup of juice.

2Bring sugar, vinegar and spices if used, to a boil.

3Cut up beets and add to liquid, bring to a boil again.

4Remove from heat.

5Store in refrigertor.

6Can be eaten after one day.
