Ingredients

  • 1 c. Minute rice
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 1 can chicken broth (or beef broth if desired)
  • 3 or 4 pinches of vermicelli
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

    Brown vermicelli in butter on low heat, add salt and pepper to taste.

    Remove from heat and add broth.
  3. 3
    Return to heat and add rice.
  4. 4
    Cook on medium high until comes to boil, lower heat and cook until 95% of broth evaporates.
