- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 can chicken broth (or beef broth if desired)
- 3 or 4 pinches of vermicelli
- salt
- pepper
Directions

1Brown vermicelli in butter on low heat, add salt and pepper to taste.

2Remove from heat and add broth.

3Return to heat and add rice.

4Cook on medium high until comes to boil, lower heat and cook until 95% of broth evaporates.
