Quick Rice Pudding

- 1 small pkg. vanilla pudding and pie filling
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. uncooked instant rice
- 1/4 c. raisins (optional)
- ground nutmeg (optional)
Directions

1Place pudding mix in a large bowl; gradually blend in milk. Stir in rice, raisins and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.

2Microwave at High for approximately 8 minutes, or until mixture thickens, stirring 2 or 3 times.

3Refrigerate for about 1 hour.

4Stir again.

5Sprinkle with nutmeg.

6Chill.
