Ingredients
- 2 c. self-rising flour
- 2 rounded tsp. baking powder
- 2 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. melted shortening
Directions

1Mix dry ingredients well.

2Add liquids.

3Beat with mixer for at least 5 minutes, adding flour as you beat until it is too stiff for beater to turn easily.

4Remove beater and add more flour, using a spoon, until it is firm.

5Flour board and place dough on it.

6Knead enough to form a smooth ball and roll to about 1/2-inch thickness and cut into biscuits.

7Dip each biscuit in melted margarine.

8Fold in half and let rise until doubled.

9Bake in 450° oven.

10Makes about 30 to 35 rolls.
