- 1 pkg. dry yeast
- 2 c. warm milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3 1/2 or 4 c. self-rising flour
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.

2Add sugar.

3Mix in the flour, then the shortening.

4Put in refrigerator.

5Pinch off and use as needed.

6These do not have to rise before baking, but be sure your yeast is fresh.
