Ingredients

  • 2 c. warm water
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/3 c. melted shortening
  • flour

Directions

    Dissolve yeast in sugar, salt and warm water solution.
  2. 2
    Add melted shortening and enough flour to make a medium stiff dough. Grease dough and cover and let rise until double in size.

    Make rolls; let rise again and bake in a 400° oven for 15 minutes.
