Quick Shrimp Etouffee

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1 c. onions
  • 1/2 c. tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. green pepper
  • 1 can cream of celery
  • 1 can cream of mushroom
  • 1 to 2 lb. shrimp, peeled and deveined

Directions

    Salt and pepper shrimp and allow to set for at least 2 hours. In large saucepan, saute onion and green peppers in margarine until clear.

    Add soups with only enough water to rinse out cans. Add tomato sauce.

    Add shrimp and cook for 30 minutes.

    Serve over rice.

    Great with a salad and French bread.
