- 1 (8 oz.) can whole onions, drained
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed vegetable soup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/2 c. diced, cooked beef
- 1 c. prepared biscuit mix
- 1/3 c. milk
Directions

1Brown onions in butter.

2Add soup, water and meat; bring to boil.

3Meanwhile, combine biscuit mix and milk.

4To make 8 dumplings, drop dough from spoon into simmering stew.

5Cook, uncovered, over low heat 10 minutes.

6Cover; continue cooking 10 minutes.

7Makes 4 servings.
