  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • Handful of fresh basil leaves, chiffonade
  • 1 clove garlic, finely chopped, or 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 loaf Italian or French bread, sliced into rounds
  • Extra-virgin olive oil, for drizzling.
  • 2 tablespoons grated pecorino Romano

Directions

    Combine the tomatoes, basil, garlic and a pinch of salt and pepper in a medium bowl.
