- 1 (16 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 (1 oz.) envelope onion soup mix
- 1 (46 oz.) can cocktail vegetable juice
- 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 c. uncooked macaroni
- 3 c. water
Directions

1Combine frozen vegetables, soup mix, macaroni, water and juice in a large heavy pan; bring to a boil.

2Cook ground beef in a nonstick skillet or in the microwave until meat is cooked, stirring to crumble; drain.

3Stir meat into vegetable mixture. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes.

4Stir occasionally to keep macaroni from sticking.

5Yield: about 2 quarts.

6Makes about 8 (1 cup) servings.
