- 3 1/4 oz. can coconut
- 1 can any kind fruit (crushed pineapple or cut-up peaches)
- 1 box yellow cake mix (dry)
- 2 sticks butter
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

1Place a layer of canned coconut in the bottom of ungreased pan about 9 x 13-inches.

2Over this, spread the canned fruit plus juice.

3Top this with the yellow cake mix (dry) just as it comes out of the box.

4Press down firmly.

5Over this, cut 2 sticks of butter, distributing it evenly and sprinkle with nuts.

6Bake for 40 minutes at 350° or until evenly browned.
