- 2 lb. top round steak
- 1/2 c. flour
- salt and pepper
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 diced carrot
- 1 diced onion
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Directions

1Wipe meat with a cold damp cloth and cut into small cubes. Sprinkle with salt and pepper; roll in flour.

2Melt margarine in a large saucepan.

3Add meat and brown it well.

4Stir in 1 tablespoon flour.

5Add 1 cup boiling water.

6Bring to boiling point, stirring constantly.

7Add carrot and onion.

8Cover tightly and let simmer 1 hour.

9Add Worcestershire sauce and serve hot. Excellent over baked potato.
