Ragu Manicotti

  • 1 pkg. manicotti shells
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 minced onion
  • 1 small carton cottage cheese
  • 1 (15 1/2 oz.) jar Ragu spaghetti sauce
  • 1 small pkg. (1 to 2 c.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. coarsely ground pepper

Directions

    Cook shells as directed on package.

    Let cool while browning the onion in a skillet.

    Add ground beef and cook until lightly browned; drain.

    Add cottage cheese and mix lightly. Fill shells with mixture.

    Lay in rows in square baking dish.

    Pour Ragu over and top with cheese. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes, checking often to make sure cheese doesn't get too brown.
