- 5 potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, peeled and sliced
- salt
- black pepper
- 1 (28 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, drained
- 1 (6 ounce) can peas
Directions

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 3 quart casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.

2Boil potatoes in salted water in large saucepan until almost tender, drain.

3Cook and Stir ground beef in skillet until no longer pink. Drain fat and discard.

4Layer 1/2 of the ground beef, 1/2 of the potatoes, 1/2 of onion, salt, pepper, 1/2 tomatoes and 1/2 of peas. Repeat layers. Add reserved tomato juice.

5Bake, covered about 40 minutes or until most of liquid is absorbed.
