Rainbow Jello Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cups Butter
  • 3 Tablespoons Light Corn Syrup
  • 1/2 cups Firmly Packed Brown Sugar Or Granulated White Sugar
  • 1 package (3 Oz. Size) Any Flavor Jello (not The Sugar Free Kind)
  • 10 cups Popped Popcorn

Directions

    Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Line a cookie sheet with foil or parchment.

    Place butter and syrup in small saucepan; cook on low heat until butter is melted.

    Add sugar and gelatin; stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.

    Bring to boil on medium heat.

    Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes.

    (Be sure to do this, I burned 2 batches because I tried cook it up over medium high heat; it wasnt pretty.)

    Pour immediately over popcorn; toss to coat well.

    Spread into prepared pan.

    Bake 10 minutes.

    Cool.

    Remove from pan.

    Break into small pieces.
