- 1 c. warm water
- 2 Tbsp. dry yeast
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. scalded milk
Directions

1Dissolve yeast in warm water.

2Cream together butter, salt, sugar and eggs.

3Add the scalded milk to the creamed mixture, then cool this mix by adding several cups of flour.

4Add yeast and enough white flour to make a soft dough.

5The dough should rise until double.

6Roll out to 1/2-inch.

7Cut out and let rise again. Deep-fat fry until brown on each side.

8Ice while hot.
