- 4 sticks (1 lb.) margarine (not butter!)
- 2 c. sugar
- 8 eggs
- 4 c. flour (all-purpose)
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. lemon extract
Directions

1Coat 2 boxes raisins (1 pound size) with 1/2 cup flour.

2Cream well margarine and sugar.

3Add eggs, beating well.

4Add flour, baking powder and lemon flavor.

5Bake at 250° for approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

6Test cake with cake tester or straw.

7Do not overcook.
