  • 1 baked pie shell
  • 3 eggs, separated
  • 3 Tbsp. water beaten with yolks
  • 1 c. packed brown sugar
  • 3 level Tbsp. flour
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/2 c. raisins (soaked)
  • vanilla

Directions

    Soak the raisins overnight in hot water.

    Drain.

    Blend sugar, flour, milk and salt.

    Add 3 egg yolks and raisins and cook until creamy. Pour into baked pie crust and cover with meringue.

    Bake in 350° oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
