  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. raisin juice
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

    Soak raisins overnight; save juice.

    Drain raisins good; save juice.

    Mix ingredients.
