Raisin Pie

  • 1 qt. boiling water
  • 1 lb. raisins
  • 1 egg
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. sifted flour
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • cinnamon to taste

Directions

    Cook 1 quart boiling water and raisins 15 or 20 minutes.

    Beat egg, sugar, flour, vinegar and cinnamon.

    Add to boiling mixture. Cook until thick.

    Bake in 2 crusts.

    Makes 2 pies.
