- 1 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 c. cold water
- 2 c. raisins
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- pastry for double crust pie (9-inch)
Directions

1In a saucepan, stir together sugar and flour.

2Add water and mix well.

3Stir in raisins, salt and cinnamon.

4Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly.

5Cook and stir 1 minute more.

6Remove from heat and stir in butter.

7Pour into a pastry lined pie plate. Top with lattice crust or cover with top crust and cut slits for steam to escape.

8Bake at 375° for about 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown.

9Yields 6 to 8 servings.
