  • 12 cup light raisins
  • 12 cup cold water
  • 13 cup rum
  • 14 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • vanilla ice cream

Directions

    Soak raisins in mixture of water and rum until plump, about 5 minutes.

    Mix brown sugar and cornstarch; add to raisin-rum mixture.

    Cook and stir until bubbly.

    Add butter.
