- 1 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. oats
- 1 c. nuts
- 1 c. Rice Krispies
- 1 c. coconut
Directions

1Cream the shortening, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla together.

2Gradually add flour, baking soda and salt to mixture. Stir in oats.

3Add rest of ingredients one at a time.

4Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.

5Bake in preheated oven at 350° for 10 minutes.

6Remove.

7Cool.

8Makes 4 dozen.
