- 1 c. oleo
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1 1/2 c. oats
- 1 (10 oz.) jar raspberry preserves
- 1/4 c. sliced almonds, toasted
Directions

1Beat oleo with sugar until well blended.

2Add combined flour and baking soda; mix well.

3Blend in almond extract.

4Stir in oats.

5Spread mixture into bottom of greased baking dish (13 x 9-inch); spread with preserves to within 1/2 inch of outer edge of pan.

6Sprinkle with almonds.

7Bake at 375° for 22 to 25 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.

8Makes about 20 bars.
