- 1 14 cups flour
- 12 cup packed brown sugar
- 12 cup finely chopped sliced almonds
- 12 cup butter flavor shortening
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 23 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 34 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup seedless raspberry jam, or favorite jam
- 12 cup flaked coconut
- 12 cup sliced almonds
Directions

1In large mixing bowl,combine flour,brown sugar,and chopped almonds.

2Cut in shortening with pastry blender till mixture looks like fine crumbs.

3Reserve 1/2 cup for topping.

4Press remining mixture into bottom of 13x9x2 inch baking pan.

5Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or till edges are golden.

6In another mixing bowl,beat cream cheese,sugar,eggs and almond extract until smooth.

7Spread over hot crust.

8Return to oven and bake 15 minutes.

9Stir jam until smooth,Spread over cream cheese layer.

10In small bowl,mix reserved crumb mixture,coconut,and sliced almonds.

11Sprinkle over jam layer.

12Return to oven and bake about 15 minutes or until topping is golden brown.

13Cool in pan on wire rack.

14Cover and chill for 3 hours before cutting into bars.

15Store in refrigerator.
