  • 1/4 c. butter
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1 can raspberries, drained (reserve 1 c. juice)
  • 1/4 c. sugar

Directions

    Cream together butter and sugar.

    Combine dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.

    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 9-inch pan.

    Drain 1 can of raspberries and sprinkle on top of batter.

    Sprinkle 1/4 cup of sugar mixed with 1 cup raspberry juice.

    Bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until done. Test with a toothpick.
