- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1 can raspberries, drained (reserve 1 c. juice)
- 1/4 c. sugar
Directions

1Cream together butter and sugar.

2Combine dry ingredients. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk.

3Pour into greased and floured 9 x 9-inch pan.

4Drain 1 can of raspberries and sprinkle on top of batter.

5Sprinkle 1/4 cup of sugar mixed with 1 cup raspberry juice.

6Bake at 375° for 45 minutes or until done. Test with a toothpick.
