- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. butter, softened
- 1/3 c. granulated sugar
- 1 egg white
Directions

1Preheat oven to 375°.

2In medium bowl, combine first 3 ingredients.

3With hand, knead mixture until blended.

4Pat pastry onto bottom and up side of a 10-inch tart pan with removable bottom.

5Bake 20 minutes, or until pastry is golden.

6In cup, beat egg white; use to brush hot pastry shell.

7Cool pastry shell in pan on wire rack.

8Remove side from pan.
